Housing/Day To Day

Searching for find house :

Some advise :

Start searching your future room, apartment very early, as in January or February, because you are not the only one who want to rent a place in the town where you will live
-    - Ask to other people whose went to England and live there if they want room-mate, or who know a friend or anybody who want a room-mate or also how they find they apartment/room.
-    - Look for student hotel
     - Look websites proposing to be au pair (fille au pair)

Two principal type of apartment/room possibility :
-     Halls of residence, which include accommodation and meals at university restaurants
-     Self-catering, who have collective kitchens.
For a chance to get one of these rooms, please contact  « Accommodation Office » of   your university, or the British Universities Accommodation Consortium, many of   universities providing roomshare are also homes especially dedicated to students, which   are quite affordable, as the International Students House in London.

      But there is also :
Flatsharing
-    In England prices are displayed weekly (pw) and vary by neighborhood and area. You can find ads on social networks as "groupe Facebook français de Londres", "French to England" « french in london » « Erasmus » or « rent a room in London » « room for rent in Nottingham » on Facebook,  or on platform as Spareoom, Center Charles Péguy or on Accomodations For Students.

Youth hostel (Auberge de Jeunesse)
-     Besides their more attractive price, the interest of youth hostels is probably that they now include private rooms or studios, sometimes equipped with a bathroom or private bath, or with common rooms to other "tenants":
-- a kitchen
-- a bar
-- a fitness room
The Youth Hostels Association is the largest association of youth hostels in the UK, but not all of them are part of it. You can find these on Hostelword or on Independent hostels gide.

-    Newspaper
We can find also a room/apartement on paper as Loot (or loot.com) or "Ici londres" et "Bonjour London".
