Loughborough is situated in the Charnwood Borough in Leicestershire.

Near bigger cities:

30 minutes away from Nottingham by car ; 30 minutes away from Leicester ; a little bit more than 1 hour from Birmingham ; 1 hour and a half from London by train...

The town is pretty quiet and small, you don't need a car to move inside the town.

• History

The institution (a small technical institute) dates from 1909, and has been a university since 1966. The founding father is Dr Herbert Schoefield. The school has since the biginning acquired a good reputation of teaching and research.

The university has 17 student halls, either self catering or catering. The student's union offers a lot of different activities such as clubs, societies, entertainment... The Athletic union offers 56 sporting clubs, there is a societies federation, possibility to get into volunteering, projects...

No documents required, 6 weeks before we start our program the university will send us an email to complete online registration, that would help them to create our ID card.

Concerning the courses : you still can change your classes up to 2 weeks after the beginning of class.

No books will be needed, you can use papers to take notes or you can use your computer
